Start an exciting hobby flying radio controlled
model airplanes! Some interesting ones from Hobby-Loby are
the Wingo Parkflyer, Merlin Slowflyer, BO 209 Monsun, and
the F4U Corsair. You will eventually get hooked on these model
airplanes and will want to buy more radio controlled model
airplanes along with rc sailboats, rc gliders, electric rc
helicopters, rc boats and rc model ships.
The different radio controlled model airplane that you can
buy are the Civil Aviation models, Military Aviation MOdels
and Water Borne Models. Get radio controlled gliders for slope
and scale flying and have some fun in the air. Some rc car
equipment is compatible with rc airplanes.
To start your radio controlled model airplane, you will
need a charger, a control, wiring, and a motor. The motors
range from cheap to very expensive. If you are looking for
a good one then get a cobalt motor. Cobalt motors have bigger
shafts, better brushes and are stronger. There are three types
of controls you can get for your rc airplane - one that is
controlled by a server, a proportional electronic control,
or a directly controlled on-off switch.
